Yes yes, ironic, a system admin thread coming from another system admin :p

Grafana Support Commission Request
TLDR:
  • Looking for an individual who can help me and the team with Grafana – The alerting rules, how to create and use them, understand the variables the dashboard uses, how to create the “labels” needed for the alerting rules and how to set up the rules to point into each of the clients Discord channel.
Requirements:
  • Fluent in English and can hop in voice chats, massive plus if they can screenshare during it.
Description:
  • We are looking for someone who can help over the course of our commission. In simple terms, HetrixTools is good and all, but it's becoming a bit tedious to manage clients with it. Immediately, we want to see each client system in a dashboard. You can see we have the client “Client:” in the top left and Host:” next to it. The dashboard looks alright so far, and we’ve made a basic display as shown below.

We now need to work how to do alerting rules and understand the variables. This part is going to be exceedingly difficult as even we can’t get our head around all the different settings to set.

We configure Hetrix to look like the below and alert us on the following rules, but it’s not always reliable and becoming a bit of a hassle to manage over 60 accounts.

This next part isn’t too major, we just need to be taught how to configure the alerting rules to have a “Label” and then that “Label” pushes to a Discord webhook per client’s channel (which is simple enough I believe).

Hopefully this makes sense, any questions, let me know. Ideally, I am not looking to spend £100’s on this, probably at max £100 or below. Literally need help understanding the fundamentals, and a chance to reach out to you in the future to ask for additional assistance if we get stuck. Once we’ve learnt it once, then we are good.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

This is a project that may well could end up costing more than the 100 in my opinion. As it would include more custom work than consulting i would assume from the TL:DR

Have you got it solved yet? If not, I would love to give the project a run down and see what's needed
