True, but on the artists point of view, isnt advertisements vandalism then, as it just random shit in tunnels and train cars. Funny stuff come out like trains get fully covered with McDonalds ads, but when pieces go on it, they are straightaway taken off.Sometimes business owners commission graffiti or other paint art on the walls of their business or things like that, in that case it isn't vandalism.
If you go spraying random shit in tunnels or on train cars just to have a place to spraypaint, it's vandalism.
Yeah, it all comes down to money these days, but I understand, otherwise everywhere would be screwed up with tags if a law was passed.Sure advertising sucks but people paid for it. It's a designated space to help out the business advertising as well as the business selling the advertising. When you go around those paid borders by spraying your own stuff, it takes away money from other people and of course it's going to get covered up
Yeah. Shops pay because it makes their shop more appealing to customers, but the funny thing is, house owners get murals for only on reason, because without one, if their house is pretty open, the walls will get tagged heavily, whereas with a mural, people respect it if they are not fucking toys.I believe there's a certain type that is good and bad. Tags are just plain shit whereas murals, throw ups and pieces and other shit is good. Shop owners often pay for decent murals.
Yeah, good point.I think graffiti is art whether it is done legally or not, however that doesn't make it alright to do it illegally.
There is a similar art form called calligraffiti which I'm very fond of.
Yeah, in my area though, alot of them are all painted over by the council which pisses me off, considering they take a while, and I know some of the guys that do them, and they get pretty pissed, especially if they get rubbed off quick.Graffiti is art in my opinion. I love going on trains and just passing by all of the artwork I see in tunnels, and just the sides of the rail roads.
Yeah, and plus, alot of starters like to just do it anywhere, while after a while you learn where and where not to write. There's a kind of hidden set of rules which kinda shows that.I'm going to keep it short. People tend to mix it up. Grafitti is in fact an art. But the fact that it's an art has nothing to do with it being vandalism; this term reflects whether it is legal or not, not how artistic it is. Grafitti in general is often depicted poorly in our society because people don't do it in the right places.
Hey, not all tags are shitty. All the fucking toy's tags are just annoying but some can have some serious style.Actual art is fine. Fucking everything in the vicinity with a shitty tag isn't.
Sure but not everywhere, and not shitty.Hey, not all tags are shitty. All the fucking toy's tags are just annoying but some can have some serious style.
