Hello MC Market,

I want to be able to draw as a hobby - as in draw graphics and such.

I understand that people use tablets and such, however I don't really know anything about it, I am an 'okay' drawer in real life, but I believe I can become better.

Any helpful information. e.g. "I started drawing and in 1 week I did this: (Epic picture of what you did, please, so that this can inspire me with only 1 week of practice)".

It looks pretty fun. c:

Thank ye peasants.

I am not a graphics person, so dont judge me...

but why dont people use 2 in 1's for these?
again, could be a silly question.

Because why use a computer when you can have a pad designed for it cx?

Didnt really aweser the question.

Whats wrong with using 2 in 1s? is it because its not as sensitive? or what? or is it because laptops with touchscreens are just becoming popular?
I personally would rather having the device on my lap, drawing on it with a screen in the background to see everything... than drawing on a pad..

I just want to know why people use special pads for it, when al ot of laptops have touch screens anymore...

Too lazy to read all that, but would you rather play a high graphics game on a $100 laptop, or $5000 computer?

Well, if I was a graphics designer, I would rather a laptop... as I wouldn't be a gamer, and I would prob like a separate computer for my work.

And my laptop was $1000.. its better than my desktop :p

No wyoure being too literal, what I mean is would you rather use a cheap ass thing, or something designed for it.

You wouldnt want the awesome pressure sensitivity? Remember that these pads are made for drawing and are highly configurable.
I know about these things, but never really used them as I'm not an artist, per say. How do they work lol?

there's nothing wrong with it, i use a surface pro 3 which is half laptop half tablet. Its price is in between intuos tablets and cintiqs. It works perfectly fine and I'm extremely happy with it. A cintiq has higher pressure sensitivity, so that's what professional artists with a larger budget go for.

I would help you out, but I don't do drawn things, I'm completely stuck with Ps6, C4D, and AE. xD

I recommend the intous pro line of tablets from wacom, never once failed me. As for the drawing program, I use manga studio 5, it has all the features of illustrator and is way cheaper in the long run.
