Group all sub forums in "Graphics & Media" section

It's all a huge "catastrophe", users that look for graphics don't usually understand the difference between "illustration" and "design" section, graphic designers post their threads pretty much in every sub forum even if their work doesn't match it and honestly i get them, its so hard to get clients like that since every one are confused about the sub forums and don't understand what sub forum is for them...
don't even wanna start about the "other" sub forum, its basically a combination of all the sub forums in one ... its pretty much a big mess...

I believe it was originally combined, but then separated. If you see a thread that belongs in a different section, just report it for 1.21 and it'll get moved accordingly. Perhaps a notice about what each thread is about could be put in place, like the notice in Investments and Loans?

Yep, it was originally combined, it was great back then in my opinion.
I don't feel like reporting will make a big change, people will always keep doing it until someone will tell them not to(officially).
especially when there's over 200,000 users there...

I've been considering an idea for a while, maybe this would be a good way to beta test it.
For service threads, seperate threads from sections. Then the OP can select which categories the same thread will be listed in IE; Illustration, design & media, an animation for someone who offers those 3 services. I would expect this would be implemented with the planned filtering system.
This works best for graphics but a similar system could be expanded to be used across the entire services section.

While we aim to expand our services section of the site, one of the ways that we have gone about doing this was expanding each of the sections to give them their own space on the site. I think that the change we made worked well, and overall I'm satisfied with the way that we've been able to give each service its own unique spot. I don't see much confusion from people being unable to distinguish between the subforums and don't think it's much of a problem.

I think that whenever a change is first made it's typical for people to be pretty vocally against it but as time goes on and it becomes the new norm it seems to work even better than before.
