Group fund for .org ($720/$2500)

Hello, I am here to present an idea that I thought of last night. I wad thinling of a way to get a .org slot at a low price, and even help the community get it at a low price. I came up with the idea to start a fund in which people pre-pay, and pre-reserve ehat type of day they want. Eg. Weekend peak. And then once we raise the specified amount for a slot, we will purchase the slot and put the plan into use. Each of the people will get to choose their dates and times.

Prices?
We will only be renting out full days to prevent unused space.
$250 per day. (Left over money will be redistributed equally.)

If what your saying is true and your not actually looking to earn anything from this project then it seems to me that you need to either A. Collect all parties interested and split the cost of the slot between them.
or
B. Set the rate of days and hours to add up to exactly what the slot costs. This will be much harder because you will have to sell every single hour which would be impossible - the solution to this would be only sell days or sets of two days if need be. In my opinion that's your best bet.

He won't do it. I've already tried to convince him to go with the plan B you stated but it seems like he wants to collect a lot of overflow money for the next month.

An idea, but once we get enough money pledged, we will purchase it.
The prices will be just about directly porportional to the time. ~$180 a day.

So, from what I know, this initial post should be revised. It should include the price per day. Such as, Monday-Thursday prices, Friday, and Saturday-Sunday. If it is going for a .org slot, the budget should be at 3500. Making it be 250 per day not including the traffic. I would say do 190 for Mon-Thur, $300 for Fridays, and $350 for the weekends. This puts it at a $3500 bid.
