As of recent, I've heard that many people are getting scammed in large groups, namely 'exit-scams'. I think a good idea to consider would be to have it so people can make a "group scam report". This would allow a new feature of being able to add multiple people to one report, to increase the workflow of scam reports, and also to assist in raising awareness in the community of said potential scammer.

For example: Billy scammed me, Fred, and Jessica, supposedly.

I create a group scam report, and I include myself, Fred, and Jessica, as potential victims.

Scam report opens up, and per usual scam report business occurs, except multiple people are able to be involved.

One thing to note is that someone may not have been directly scammed, but have sufficient evidence to pose to that report, so those people could be sufficient to include on the group as well.

Just a thought I had, inspired by Mafiaboss & FriendlyPerson. Thank you! Hope you consider.

EDIT: Another benefit I realize that could be resulted from this is that Staff would have an easier time with a new category of 'Group Reports' vs Standard Reports, making it easier to tell which situations have multiple people involved.

All the best,

one issue is that personal information about each deal would be shared with each other, but other then that its a good idea.

It's going to be shared anyway? ...just on a different thread?

yeah, but they check it for personal information before they publish it, they wouldn't be able to do that before its shared to the group.

This would just add a ton of cluster making staff look over multiple users with different deals inside the same thread. Plus I have a feeling staff would end up favoring dealing with single reports rather than a group report. Just too much inside one thread.

That's a totally understandable perspective to have on this suggestion, honestly. Thank you for your input.

Are you referring to a grouped category or a single thread?

I suppose either-or could work. This idea has a lot of breathing room for freedom honestly; I think Cade made a good point though how it could make things more cluttered, even though that might not be the intended purpose. Thank you for your feedback!

Isn't this already possible?
It may be, honestly. I'm more so thinking at least some sort of way for them to be categorized could be perhaps a quicker and more seamless way for people who have been scammed in groups vs single occurrences to be assisted in a swifter and more seamless manner. I'm not sure thought because it could do the opposite. Just an idea. I really appreciate your thoughts.

Thank you for the very interesting feedback regarding my suggestion- you all pose great different POVs and I definitely can see the pros and cons.

All the best,
Day

Please no. This would be absolute hell. Its already hard enough in some reports trying to decipher what 1 person is claiming, much less 3 people claiming something with 3 different groups of evidence, with 3 different types of situations, etc.

I understand where you're coming from, upon further speculation. Thank you for your input!
