Group Tags in Shoutbox

This was a custom modification I developed with the intention of hopefully being implemented - however before doing anything I wanted to gauge everyone's opinion on this.

This isn't necessarily a change that would affect you as a user - it is purely cosmetic and would only apply to staff members. The slight change is visible below. The idea behind this is that it would help make staff messages stand out more, as for example I've had incidents in the chatbox where users haven't seen messages/warnings where I've asked them to stop doing a particular thing.

This is it in action on a live test site. Super simple.

Please vote agree/disagree. You don't have to leave an opinion if you don't like - but please just bear in mind that even though this suggested change most likely wouldn't directly affect you in any way, it may benefit other users instead.

User's name colours give it away if you are staff. Nobody really cares if you are premium or supreme. Anyway, what about users with premium and supreme? What about staff with both donation ranks as well. They get 3 prefixes?

I think it's a cool feature but I think it would just make the chat cluttered.
Oh well.

The badges would only apply to staff members, just incase you didn't realise. I understand where you're coming from though.

If we replaced the "@" symbol with this, then I think it'd be cool

What about a tag for Supremes as well with the icon that's in the Supreme badge? Would help make those Supreme users stand out over the Premiums.

It would be fine if it was not abused, but, most likely it will be. I will have 10 alerts an hour from tag "@Moderators" I honestly do not think it is needed at all..

It won't work like that. It'll be the individual user - not entire group.
It's purely cosmetic. No alerts!
