Heya!

So this suggestion is the addition of a groups tab, and the addition of user ran groups.
Here, users can make their own groups and invite their friends, partners and clients to discuss anything in a forum style.

For example, if a group of artists want to discuss their art in private, they can create a closed artist group and make a forum for Current projects, Complete projects, etc. so that their partners can review and evaluate others art. They can also post events, such as a meeting for staff, or a fun project.

This would benefit MCM by allowing people to organise themselves into what they do and like, to make discussion almost a group of people much easier.

Moderation would also be changed because of this; admins can change the permissions for moderators to allow them to access all groups, so they could go around and prevent anything bad from happening.

2) I think it's just a waste tbh. If theres a group of people, customers, staff, ect just take it to skype/discord.

I got it for my own website, Its a very good addon. And Ik they can put it on skype/disord, but this allows a thread style, so that important threads can be responded to, instead of just a list of messages

You can only add so many, and it's kinda annoying with a ton of people in a PM tbh

I never said I agree with this suggestion u just said your fix is flawed. I see nothing wrong with using Skype or discord

As I said, skype/discord are fine programs. The advantage is that the groups are in a forum style.

Imagine you are trying to discuss "Selling Accounts" & "General Chat". When using discord/skype you may talk about one for a while, and then change to another and the fact that both existed are lost because there are so many messages. When using a forum style, they can be split into threads.
