Hey Guys,
I've just uploaded my second episode of "Shoutout Sunday," and basically for you who don't know what this is. It's a series I started to help grow smaller channels who are struggling on YouTube. Yes I know, I'm not that popular myself, but when I first started YouTube. No one was there to help me grow, I had to do it all on my own. Hopefully I get the chance to give them the help that I never got. Please take a few minutes to check the video and check the shouted out people. Thank you for your time <3

I see no good coming from this whatsoever. You most likely will gain subscribers who think that they will be successful on youtube from your shoutout but will not actually watch your videos and those who receive shoutouts will likely gain very few and inactive subscribers. A better way to help out smaller youtubers is to collaborate with them. That would actually help the both of you grow.

Don't you mean, you just go on videos and comment "Hey man! nice video blah blah, i can help you grow, just check out my channel and subscribe".

You're practically asking people to subscribe to your channel at this point. From someone whose (regretfully) done a Shoutout Sunday series in the past, I know it doesn't help the shout outed people at all. All it does is get you additional viewers from desperate people who want to grow their channel, and are manipulated into thinking you will help them when all you're looking for is a quick buck.
As you venture through MCM, you'll quickly learn that the people here aren't sheep and won't fall for false advertisement like this, it won't work like it does in five-year-old's comments sections.

I know what you mean, but so far. Everyone that's asked or was interested in a collab, I've done it with them. I'm not that typical YouTuber that freaken records for the money and stuff. If someone is interested in a collab, and they ask in the comments. I'd definitely add them on Skype and record with them. Why do you think my Skype is always so open for people to add me.[DOUBLEPOST=1486691367][/DOUBLEPOST]

And no, I've had multiple cases in which people have done that. I don't see a point in doing that and trying to steal viewers/subs from other peoples channels/videos. Makes no sense.[DOUBLEPOST=1486691440][/DOUBLEPOST]

I know what you mean man, but so far the actual shoutouts I've given to the YouTubers has increased activity on their channels and subs. Compare their sub base/view base in the video, then go to their actual channels and check.

You pretty much ask for subscribers for a "shoutout" that doesn't help at ALL!
