Not too sure tbh but if it's your only options just use the 1030

Still the computer will get a boost of frames since the GeForce graphics card will boost FPS in any game mostly Minecraft, Also just because it’s a cpu based game doesn’t mean the gpu won’t boost frames[DOUBLEPOST=1517718900][/DOUBLEPOST]
Please explain what sli means

^ This is false. One card would be disabled.
Actually if you have an advanced motherboard it’s possible to have 2-3 slots for gpus
^ You also need SLI support, not just numerous slots.

You can't run them together; only one will work at a time, and it will be ridden with bugs. Here's a great rule of thumb:
One better card is ALWAYS better than two lesser cards.
The reason behind this is because multi-card setups don't work for every game, and they don't always work well for the games that they do work for. The only time you should use multiple cards is for extremely high end machines, not on weak cards like the gt 1030. Don't use more than one card.

My specs 3.30 ghz 8 gb of ram -500 gb of space - liquid cooling fan

... liquid cooling... fan? Also, what specific CPU. the GHz means nothing if you don't know the architecture.

I don't mean to be rude here, but I don't think you should build a PC right now. You don't know what you're talking about, and don't understand the basic ways in which hardware interacts. You'd likely either make a mistake, or not plan a good system. You should watch guides and tutorials from the likes of Jayztwocents or LinusTechTips (Or any of the other well known youtubers).

Semicircles I learned most of the basics after about three weeks of watching tech youtubers. It just makes getting into hardware and building PCs a thousand times easier, and can really help your wallet. If you had just stuck a GT 1030 and 740 in a PC, you'd have performance issues, wasted money, and driver issues; knowing the basics can prevent things like that.

Thanks for the tip
