Guilded vs Discord | Which is superior?

Recently came across a platform called Guilded

Those who ditched Skype or Teamspeak for Discord like me knew that Discord was the far superior option I could think of, until now.

What makes Guilded so good?

guilded seems interesting, but needs to get a lot more mature and established before moving to guilded should even be considered

There seems to be a lot of debate surrounding this at the moment. Personally, I won't be switching from Discord until an innovative product releases that isn't just a 'copy' of Discord (similar UI, audience, purpose etc.)

if Microsoft buys discord, I could possibly seeing myself move if enough do. I'm just so used to discord and everyone I need to contact uses it so why change. Same issue with PayPal, its just that they have a monopoly.

It does seem interesting, but yes, like the others said, if a majority is using discord and used to it, getting those onto something else might be something.

And well Devigns, you guys use discord don't you? are you going to move to the Guilded platform?

Guilded is better than discord. ripoff or not, who cares in this case. Discord is becoming a scummy company. Not to mention if discord gets acquired, then they're just gonna be even more scummy. I hope my discord setups become guilded setups lol. I'm getting used to their UI. The 2 main things I don't like about guilded are the ugly color scheme and the stupid looking message text. It's too small and rough. Otherwise it destroys discord.

They ban people for personal reasons, their mods are becoming less competent by the day it feels like. Kinda how twitch is now with the whole girl streamer thing. (Kinda)
