I am the proprietor of a Discord community called GunSmoke! We are the first of our kind as we offer a service no other server has offered before: Automated matchmaking over discord channels. It will be executed in the best way possible for such a server. We are hoping for a successful launch, however for that we need Staff, and Beta testers for the service.
If you decide to become a staff member, and are accepted to the server you will be responsible for creating a fun, and safe environment for users to matchmake, and play within.
If you choose to become a beta tester for the service you will be responsible for helping work out any bugs with the bot, and creating a fun, and glitch-free environment for your peers.
Staff work is completely voluntary on this server, however play-testing will be rewarded with a donator rank on the server (There will only be one donator rank.) This is predicted to be a very large community, so every member counts.
How we plan to find a large amount of members in a short amount of time:
The matchmaking process discussed earlier in the thread is going to be revolutionary to this community, not even the official server for the biggest Overwatch LFG subreddit has anything similar.
We plan on advertising this as much as possible, relying on word of mouth, and good sportsmanship between members to keep this server running a large, and long as possible.
We will have a position for advertising manager available for someone that has connections, and wants to help us grow as a server.
Positions we are looking to fill:
Play Tester: 18 Positions available.
- Test new features.
- Bugtest for the server.
- Gain early access.
- Free Donator rank on the server.
Moderator: 3 Positions available.
- Keep the server clean.
- Give input on new features, rules, and implementations.
- Attend Staff meetings.
- Become a part of the latest, and greatest in this community.
Advertising Manager: 1 Position available.
- Advertise to potential players.
- Keep the playercount up.
- Highlight the best aspects of the server with every post.
Will I be trained?:
All positions that require training will be trained upon joining.
