If you won't go first you won't get the BTC. Also , no one is gonna give you $40 btc for $35 venmo, it's the other way around - $40 venmo for $35 btc.

Middleman is acceptable, venmo is closer to fiat and fiat has a higher value than crypto, there for venmo/paypal are worth more than crypto imo. I am giving about an 87% exchange rate.

No one cares what your imo is - BTC is worth 5-10% more than fiat.

I'm sorry you feel that way, but I disagree. The only way to cash out bitcoin would be through a bank account or finding someone online. For those who don't want to link a bank account it's easier to find someone online and pay a slight premium.
