Are you currently having any issues with essentials?
You have come to the right place, I am going to offering you brief and informative information about all the potential bugs that you may be having with essentials! There are many simple problems that can occur when using this yet very heavy and dependent plugin that could potentially cause major issues on a server or network.
Messages:
Whilst I am observing the market and seem to find a lot of threads in which people are having issues trying to find out how to edit there essentials messages. Essentials does appear when you look into the '/plugin/essentials' that there is no 'properties' nor 'yml' folder that will allow a user to edit there essentials messages. Even though this may be the case, I am going to give a simple step in which any essentials user with any version can create there own file that will allow you to edit any essentials message! (EXAMPLE: /msg format, /mail format etc)

I know there is no much of a difference but it shows the potential that you can change the chat format completely and make it fit your liking and needs.There are many more things you can edit in this file such as your ban messages if you want to use essentials for your banning system.

Installation:
1. Download the provide 'lang' file above.
2. Ensure that this file is in a location that you can access easily.
3. Stop your server that has already generated the essentials '/plugins/essentials'
4. Place the downloads file the above directory.
5. Edit the files messages to your liking.
6.Start your server.
7. Enjoy!
Versions:
I have came across numerous people on the market that also have issues that there essentials versions do not work with there current jar. There are simple procedures that should be followed out when choosing the version of essentials that you are having on your server. You must keep in mind the version of spigot/bukkit that you are running and if not it is 1.7 nor 1.8.
If your network/server is running a paper spigot or above 1.8 jar all current essentials versions will work and you can use the latest version of essentials on your network/server.
If you are wanting to own a PvP network and run the jar that most servers/networks run when hosting a PvP network all latest versions of spigot will not work for you.

This link will give you all the essentials versions that you can run on your server/network and not run into any issues or errors.
