The time it takes me to login to MC-Market is much longer and it feels really unnecessary.
Many times a day I'll do a "quick check" on various threads here on MC-Market but knowing I'll have to squint my eyes to click on all the chickens from a selection of chicken-like (but not quite a chicken) images is a real headache.

It's seriously making me not even want to use MC-Market anymore.
PLEASE, as someone who has given money to this website on more than one occasion, get rid of hCaptcha.

This is a horrible system that doesn't' need to be there. I will literally pay Mick $10 to never have to click the captcha again.

I agree, it takes 10 times longer than normal captchas and is just straight up annoying. #RemovehCaptcha

There have been like 10 threads on this already (for those who don't know what exaggeration is, now is your time to learn). Use Privacy Pass. Wait for them to fix it.

It could be a premium feature where we don’t need to complete hcaptcha

So Mick gets paid for our suffering? Nice. The only thing I can think about now is clicking the X button in Chrome and probably never coming back.

They're both annoying and Mick gets paid for each time we complete them
I'm not sure how you got this idea in your head but this is completely based all on assumption. Just because hCaptcha allows website owners to money, doesn't mean that was the motive for its implementation. From what Jayson has stated, hCaptcha is fulfilled by Cloudflare and we don't earn any profits from it. We only have control over when the captcha is provided but not the captcha itself.
As for the recent switch to hCaptcha, that is currently out of our control per my knowledge as the captcha is provided by Cloudflare.
https://blog.cloudflare.com/supporting-the-latest-version-of-the-privacy-pass-protocol
Based on the information I've gathered, a primary motive for Cloudflare moving to hCaptcha is due to how it is privacy-oriented, unlike Google's reCaptcha. Their point is that when doing captchas, Google got free AI training work from visitors so hCaptcha is paying webmasters which use hCaptcha. We do not see the profits from this activity as Cloudflare delievers the captcha. More details about PrivacyPass and hCaptcha are on Cloudflare's blog

I'm not so sure about my part, since I usually don't get this "hCaptcha" that apparently annoys each individual I know that does encounter this. Possibly because of my Premium Upgrade? I'm not so sure.

That doesn't matter in the slightest. You are all lucky and smart enough to realize the people who DO pay for this websites premium add-ons absolutely hate this new implementation, and you may lose profit due to that. It's taken me far too long trying to identify if thats a bird or not. Just get rid of it for the love of god...
I don't believe you read my message completely nor saw the messages I have quoted. As stated in those messages, we have no control over having hCaptcha or reCaptcha. Jayson is planning on replacing it next week but for now hCaptcha remains as, again, that's out of our control. "Why don't you disable it?" And have an influx in bot attacks and possible downtimes? If it took me 10mins to solve the captcha, I rather spend that 10mins solving the captcha than having the site go down constantly.

Personally, I find it hard to believe the amount of people "struggling" on solving the captcha, specifically the time taken. Sure it took me a bit to get used to but I didn't have to spend nearly 10mins trying to figure out if it's a boat or not... Not even a minute. The amount of time it takes to solve hCaptcha is nearly the same amount to solve reCaptcha for me: seconds, not minutes. If you're really in the minutes then I suggest using PrivacyPass so you only have to spend these minutes once and not for another 30 tries. Cloudflare and MCM Staff team supports this add-on. With this, you shouldn't have to spend your "10-20mins" trying to figure out what a bird or boat looks like multiple times...
