You obviously haven't worked in a real world environment where people get charged thousands for quality development. Quality is the key word there.
Yeah I agree but 'quality' can be subjective. For example I've been doing Java for 5 years straight and I know the ins and outs of data management and analysis, I have a good understand of how the jvm stores and reads objects in java but I would have no problem charging $350 for a core.

Why? Is it because my work is not quality?

Mainly because I don't have enough reputation to even charge thousands for a core, as that's the only thing people care about and not only this it's hard to find work being a kid lurking on MC-Market forums

1k is not excessive in the slightest! A core which is custom coded, bug free and able to support 500+ players concurrently will easily set you back $7.5-10K+.

Nevertheless, OP is looking for a non-exclusive core. ImAnt i'd recommend Notorious Core. This is a base grade core, but it is constantly updated and works with HCFactions. It is also only $20.
It doesnt hold players well, I've tried it and dont like it. I'm getting a core which utilizes redis.
