No but seriously, back for another shitty controversial rant. I do this a lot because the MC community is so corrupt there's always a topic to rant about. I'm like the leafy of mc-market.
So I've never really took this into consideration, but was this how it was like a couple years back when regular factions became very popular? Did people feel the same way about a new faction server coming out (People calling it overused and unoriginal)? I'm kind of curious, because as long as I've been in this community I've grown up a bit more since I started and I really had no feelings about this when I was younger so hopefully you older folks could inform me (i'm currently 16).
Now for the actual rant.
So since HCF has kind of blown up, a lot of new servers have built up and grew a playerbase with sometimes over 300 players on the day of the release (which this is normal because some servers spend thousands in advertisements). But I feel like even though the HCF scene is slowly dying, there's still a bunch of HCF servers coming out. I went onto my old youtube channel from a while back where I was subscribed to only Minecraft PvPers in the Pot community. Although a lot of them have quit, the only thing I saw in my subscriptions was trailers. I feel like even with regular factions each server at least TRIED to make their server different but in HCF the only thing different they claim is "Anticheat" or an AMAZING "core" but with all the same features (for the most part). The best part about this, is the pot community happens to be the most toxic community I've EVER been apart of. And the fact that a lot of the new HCF servers have toxic staff members, and toxic owners it's like the players don't care because they're all that way. Oh, let's not forget favoritism..the pot community lives off of reputation and a player who is known for hacking wouldn't get banned because he's known in the community. I'd say a good 75% of the pot community cheats in some way.
To me, the HCF scene is a joke and I wished only a few made it big. Not only would that keep majority of the playerbase to 1-2 servers (which would be better imo), but I wish there was some creativity with these servers. Every HCF server that releases has the following text in their trailers.
"Custom Core"
"Custom Builds"
"Custom Anti-Cheat"
"Professional Staff Team"
Then they leave their SOTW date. Big whoop, I'm surprised people are hyped about another GREAT hcf server.
