Hello! My name is Agonist and I am the owner of the HCPots Network. I just typed a REALLY long thread so expect this to be short and simple. I am looking for mature and experience HCF players for my new upcoming Server, HCPots.

(NOTE: I am going to let a lot of my friends be staff members on here but I need to probably get like 20 off of here)

I have plenty of experience in moderating HCF and other gamemodes.
I have moderated HCF for close to a year now, I am familiar with most of all the situations that players may find themselves in during their playtime. I am very experienced in Screensharing, I know file sizes & where to find what I am looking for. My administrative experience allows me to handle more difficult tasks more precisely & effectively than most. Teamspeak moderation is another one of my more experienced areas, During the time I am on the server, I am always in the teamspeak, ready to assist a player with whatever their need may be.

Note: I attended night school Mon-Thur 2:30-7pm EST, this will not interfere with my activity, it will actually allow me to be on at certain times where staff may not be as active

What can you bring to HCPots:

I can bring a positive attitude to HCPots. Along with that I can bring my maturity & experience to make sure the player is getting the fun experience of HCPots that he/she is looking for. As I have stated I am very experienced in moderating/Administrating, I know how to deal with players problems. There is more to moderating than just banning cheaters, As a moderator I would provide a role model that players could get along with & look up too. It is important to connect with the community, but to also uphold the position. I can accomplish all of these things, and make the HCPots experience more enjoyable, and keep players coming back.

Experience:
I have lot's of experience as of being a server owner my self not to long ago. I owned a survival server for 2 years that had a decent amount of players on it, around 20 - 50 players a day. Mostly on the summers we would hit a top player amount of 80 players. I have been staff on a server called DefusePvP when it was up, Mainly known as PainfulPvP's server, I was staff on it until it shut down. I had also been admin on another server and it had 10-15 players on it, But eventually it died down and I resigned due to no players. I have owned a network before, It was called MythicalNetWork. I owned it for 3 months but I eventually had to go back to school at the time and didn't want to run a network at the time. I was manager on a BiomeCraft for 5 months after. I worked my hardest to do my job and make the community better on there. I spent 1000+ hours on there for 3 months working hard to keep it a good place. Also used to own the HCF server ArsonPvP for a couple weeks on Map 5 but I ended up getting hacked and demoted.

What can you bring to HCPots:
I feel i can bring a staff member who can help all the time and make sure its a clean community and make sure the chat is clean. I can be active on the forums and report rule breakers on the forums. I can bring a nice person and kind to players who need help. I can bring a staff member that everyone will like and look up to and want to need ask for help. I am very familiar with the Ban system commands, I have used it on a previous server of mine and always have. I think you should choose me over someone else because I am very a very dedicated person, I work really hard to exceed your expectations. I am very kind and chill when it comes to handling things. I'm interested because I love to help players and answer questions that are asked. I have always wanted to have the helper tag so i can stand out and players will notice me and want to ask me questions when they need help. I like to be nice to players on the server and help them with what they need help with. The server needs a good helper on there to assist players on doing the right thing and not breaking the rules. I feel i can be that Mod and make it a good community and keep chat clean. I can bring an easy to work with staff member who always listens to higher up staff members and always is ready to take on any challenge you throw at me. I always do what I am told to do no matter what the circumstances are. The most important quality of a staff team is how they work together, The meaning of team is "come together as a team to achieve a common goal.". That's the whole point in a staff team, You all have to work together and help each other keep the server clean from hackers and toxic players. Another important quality is maturity, No staff team is good when you have immature players in the staff team, We need players who know what there doing and get the job done, The saying is one bad apple in the barrel can ruin many more. My opinion of the meaning of being moderator is to make sure chat is clean, Be respectful to all players no matter how mean they are to you. Being a helper is a very important job because it reflects on how good of a staff member you are and what you are capable you are and lets the owners/head-admin know you are ready for a promotion.

The one thing I'm concerned about is your friends will never care about the server much as you and that's how you get abusers. How will you prevent that? Also how intense will be training be for staff? How will you prevent abuse? What is expected player-base one week after SOTW? How can we be assured that the server won't end up like all the other dead servers?
