Heavier moderation

Hello,

I'd like to keep this short and sweet as I assume both of our time is very valuable.
This being said I currently freelance my plugins and spend a good amount of time between /plugins and /servers. That being said, during my time here, I have literally never ran into a moderator on either of this categories and often (multiple times a day) see off-topic thread spam, it just the 5 minutes its taken me to write this post here's a few I've found:

Not to mention the 50 "HCF Core" threads created a day.. (People need to learn to use google)
Besides this, many request are very vague and irritate the same basic concept ten-fold. That being said I believe there needs to be an approval queue for plugin request and I would even be willing to help moderate this sub.

I agree, + I feel like reports take to long or go unresolved a lot.

One reason you never run into moderators is that half of them spend their time buried up to their neck in reports. Reports from those LQ threads, among others.

The problem with more mods is that right now, most of those who are willing are unfit, and most of those who are fit are unwilling. There might be exceptions, but being a mod here is not a thankful task. I mean, look at teg already resigning. That might be due to IRL situations, or to simply getting sick of dealing with some types of people on here.

There's also the rule of suggesting yourself as staff immediately disqualifying. Which you'd know if you'd read the rules.
Also, there's the matter of activity. Staff has no reason to believe you're active, you having joined 2 years ago and not even reaching 200 messages.[DOUBLEPOST=1502439328][/DOUBLEPOST]

They're not disagreeing with the cleaner forum, just the heavier moderation, I think. I agree with you on that in many ways, but it's currently not practical. However, we're slowly getting a few more mods (techbanana being the latest chatmod, shattered the latest mod). Hopefully there'll be a point where we reach a higher total, not just new members of staff to replace old ones.

Is what I said false? Didn't realize the truth was immature, also I do not need to explain myself or otherwise prove my credidentials to you. Again, thanks for you input. (Btw Mick, the guy you think so highly of, has 4 neg rep.) Being a moderator is not about pleasing everyone, so if I've upset you by stating facts: I'm not sorry. This is event even something I want to do, I spend enough time here so I figured I would offer my services to make this a better place, I couldn't care less if I'm offered a position or not, my time is valuable.

We do, My support ticket has been open since the 27th July, about DDoS threats & I've been bumping it every 1-2 days, not even assigned to a staff member.
