These sections are filled with extreme amounts of accounts that do not fit the criteria. This has been the case ever since Doge has left since we don't have someone sifting through the sections by hand. If I were to designate someone, it would be either Lotus or Kram as they're amazing staff, but from what I can see they're extremely busy since they've been pitted with scam reports after a long backlog.
Here's a couple of examples of some accounts that litter the section
- Wss
- EULAOfficer
- Almoner
- Crenel
- Keyarah
- Tearju
- Ragyo
- BlueBerryJam
- F89
- Divka
This case is especially true in the Semi OG section. In the Semi section I can guarantee you I can make up a random word and sell it for at LEAST $5. What's even funnier is that actual semis are being sold for around $60 or more and these accounts are being sold from the $5-10-30 range.
The lack of moderation on these sections, not as much OG but a LOT semi, and hurting people that are genuinely interested in purchasing Semi OG minecraft accounts. They're tricked into thinking they have something of value when they're just being sold a regular email access minecraft account that you can find on an alt shop.
Here are a few things that you can do to manage this a little bit easier
1. The handmade OG claiming rule
ANIME LOVER originally suggested this but I will include it for the sake of it being an incredible suggestion. What this basically means is that if a staff member stumbles upon your thread and deems your account as not meeting the criteria for the section, the thread will be removed and you will not be able to sell said account.
2. The ability to massively flag or report threads
This ability should definitely be restricted to this section only, and I figure this feature should have a cooldown as well. This feature can easily be abused but has great benefits, such as compressing all the accounts that do not fit criteria into only one chunk, instead of having to deal with each report on an account individually. This is what spiked a backlog in the first place.
3. Have a staff member that can dedicate themself to this section
We already saw this happen with Doge hand claiming all the accounts that didn't fit the criteria - if it happened once it can happen again.
All in all I just want a solution to the problem leave thoughts opinions reactions and suggestions below
