Help a Volunteer Firefighter

Thank you for your wishes. So far, only a person from Spigot has donated a small amount and from McM only George offered to donate, but his Paypal is limited. I'll get there though.
I thought about changing it, but I believe most people use the normal theme and a color that's visible with dark theme will look bad on a white background.
Just make it default....
It's the default text, I never used any formatting when I posted it. Or perhaps I did by accident. Anyhow, I'm not able to edit my post now.
I get your point, but as I'm not able to edit it, I don't really know how to make it visible in the dark theme.
Update: Yesterday we had theoretical training at the base where we were taught many things about forest fires and how the team approaches and handles the situation. It was full of interesting details that most people get wrong about fires. Today, in the morning, we had practical training where we worked with the fire truck (O-2), the hoses, the splitters and some other tools. We even made an imaginary firefighting event where we advanced as a team with the hoses and put out a supposed fire up on the hill by the base.
Everything was very fun to do, especially for people like my who like manoual labor. After the training, they gave me some "team swag" (a T-shirt and a hat with the team's logo and name on them). You can see them in the spoiler below.
I like the team even more with each day that passes and I get to learn new things all the time. I was also put on the shift schedule of October so now I have specific days that I'll do firewatch shifts. But since I'm fairly new, I'll be the 3rd person of each shift (while typically only 2 members have shift at a time).
I'm now trying to gather money to buy the headlight and boots, along with a multitool. I believe I'll have those 3 items by the end of October.
