Help|Advice --=-- Creating a Mod|Unsure of setup

Basically, I'm creating a mod for building, all I want it to do is add blocks into the game and I've already created them and set up the JSON files. Just not being able to put them into the game, I tested them by editing resource pack and the JSON files are fine its just I have java knowledge XF.

All I need is to add new blocks into the game they don't need functions or GUIs etc. Anyone able to show me how to do this, If you need it skypes live:laurenparkernz
