does it not just work, like you can't even select a tag in /tags or does it just not show in chat?

Do you have the deluxetags expansion?

/papi ecloud download DeluxeTags
/papi reload

If so, when you select you a tag, run /papi parse <your ign> %deluxetags_tag% does it print out your tag?
