[HELP] Essentials Chat + Factions?

Problem
So i have been reading up on something with factions messing up Essentials chat which you would be editing the essentials chat to your liking but it won't work because of factions. i was told to "Set in your factions config chatSetFormat": false, so then it uses the essentials chat config." but i haven't found it if anyone is able to Help me Pm me for my Skype.

Also I am trying to remove the brackets from chat which i know essentials chat controls that but in order to do this issue will need to be fixed.

If you are using FactionsUUID then in front of all the chat formats in ESSENTIALS put [FACTION][DOUBLEPOST=1497107513][/DOUBLEPOST]Example

([FACTION]){DISPLAYNAME} {MESSAGE}

I am not using FactionsUUID i think it is the Factions which is corrupting the format for essentials chat. if i am correct Factions has its own chat formatting.

What mc version are you on and where did you download essentials from?

Yeah use EssentialsX, that is a known bug within Spigot's fork.

You can edit the <> in the factions config.
