Help (Fps)

Hey so I recently got a new laptop for christmas, and have pretty good specs but get around 100 fps. I dont know if its supposed to be that low or if its something with my laptop or what. My main pc has a gtx1060 I5 7500 with 8 gigs of Ram and get around 6-700 fps on prac server. But with my laptop which has a gtx 1050ti I5 7400 and 8gigs of ram get only 100. If anyone knows if theirs a problem and how to fix it, that would be very appreciated. Thanks,

Honestly it seems to be a desktop grade laptop, Which by my guess means you can upgrade youre Ram, which is what Id suggest you doing, have you changed settings so they match with programs

What MC version/mods are you running? Also, have you allocated ram to minecraft?

Forge with togglesneak, optfine, just your usual mods.

Maybe try using optifine and see if you can play around with those settings and that could help the problem. Also while running the game check task manager and see if you could allocate more RAM to the game. GL

Ye i lowered settings. Also its marketed as a gaming laptop. I get around 70 fps on Gta and 200 on Cs.[DOUBLEPOST=1519092757][/DOUBLEPOST]

I use optifine, and i tried adding more ram.

Check ram, Honestly CS is a Processor dependant game, MC is aswell but it needs a little more ram, I get 300 fps with my I7 5820K

You have to enable it in advancded settings on the new launcher
