[help] I got 2 physics questions i need help with.

I am in need of dear help with 2 physics math questions. If you can give me the awnser and show me how you did it i would be really happy and reward you, here are the 2 questions.

1.

At what distance from the earths surface is acceleration due to 1/6 the value at the earths surface?

Radius of the earth is: 6.38x10"6
Force of gravity at the earths surface is 9.8Newtons / kilogram

2.

A 10000kg freight car is rolling at 2m/s, it collides with a rail car at rest of 25000kg. If the 2 cars lock together after the collision what is the final velocity of the two cars?

Remember the first mass is 10k kg second is 25k kg I just don't know how to do it
