Hey, I'm looking to build a gaming PC but do not know what parts to pick. My budget is quite small - $500. All it really needs to do is be able to do some small coding projects and run Minecraft.

Any builds are welcome!
Thanks, Savour.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

That SSD is tiny, for the budget they'd be better replacing that with a Hard Drive. They can also lower memory HZ and GPU a little bit and use that to get a better CPU (you forgot to factor in that they will be coding AND gaming, so they need a balanced CPU and GPU)
A harddrive will be biggest mistake for pure Windows I've seen it become incredibly slow.
Ryzen loves fast ram speed and it would only be $2 less for 200mhz less of speed
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ZGFPvW would be a slightly better alternative for the op if he could increase his budget by $100
I'm also positive if the op currently has a system he can take his current harddrive if he has one with him and use it as a 2nd disk

would show that the difference isn't that much. Considering windows 10 is about 30 GB you're leaving the guy with 200 GB on his own. Factor in the coding software/libraries/and minecraft he'd have about 180 GB left which doesnt leave him with much of an option if he does want to play any other games or anything

Idk if you noticed but I put in a larger ssd in the 2nd part list aswell as a cpu upgrade to 6 cores
A ssd is a requirement for a system to be not be slow as hell by todays standards in my book.
