With Black Friday less than 2 weeks away, I'm planning on buying a brand new gaming computer, but I'm still undecided whether I should build my own gaming pc based on brand new custom parts or buy one already pre-made.

I'm hoping to start streaming on Twitch by the end of this year and I need a potent gaming pc to handle games such as FIFA 19, Minecraft, Call of Duty, The Walking Dead and Overwatch. (Note: I'll be purchasing a PS4 system along with the gaming pc.)
I also need the gaming pc to be able to handle extensive Minecraft terraforming (Ivain I'm tagging you on this because I need your input.), photoshop, video editing and running a network server which will be releasing soon.

Help me choose a computer or give me tips on what I should look for when buying a gaming pc.
My budget will be between $1k-$1.25k as I'm hoping to grab some really good deals on Black Friday.

These are the requirements that the gaming computer must have:
Brand doesn't really matter, as long as it's reputable.
Processor must be either an Intel i7 or AMD Ryzen 7 with a speed of more than 3.5 ghz and overclock capability of around 4.0 ghz.
Graphics card must be between a 1070 Ti and 1080 Ti
Memory must be between 16GB and 32GB
SSD Memory with at least 500GB
2TB Hard drive

In terms of peripherals, I have already bought a gaming mouse, keyboard and two monitors, but I still need a gaming headset and mic for streaming.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Buy a premade, building your own won't be as good but will be more expensive currently with bitcoin mining. If you have a microcenter near you, buy from there. They know what they are talking about and have hella good computers for cheap, my full 2nd setup (pc, monitor, headphones, keyboard, mouse, mouse pad, etc) costed around 2k and gets 200 fps epic settings, no shadows on fort.
Very true about the bitcoin mining. Ram as well is through the roof.

A 1080 ti still costs over 800 bucks even though one: RTX cards are released and two: the gpu shortage is over. Plus like somebody above me said, ram prices are through the roof.

Just to let you know you might not get the requirements that you want, i put in the i7, a 1070ti and 16 gb and it was really close to your asking price already.
I'm aware of the current market for high end pc parts, but I'm hoping to see the prices tank during Black Friday as they usually do.

For terraforming, RAM and CPU are the most important parts. RAM because both Worldmachine and Worldpainter are RAM-intensive, and CPU for a similar reason (the stronger the CPU the faster Worldmachine can export and the bigger brushes WP can handle).

How much total memory vs. allocated memory for Minecraft do you recommend my gaming pc should have?
My current pc, which is over 5 years old, has only 4gb of memory, so I'm only able to allocate half of the memory to MC, that's why I'm looking to buy a new computer.

Allocated to MC should not go over 4GB anyway. Java doesn't like large amounts of RAM.
You mostly need large amounts of RAM for Worldmachine and Worldpainter, and Chunky.
I have 24, which I wanna get to 32 sometime soon, but I have other priorities since this is enough for now
