Hello, i would like to start programming plugins for minecraft ( java ) , but i don't know how to start , can you give me some help how i can start, any website that will help me or someothing like that?
Personally I disagree with the above reply. He doesn't need to go spending ridiculous money for that. Start by learning java, there are many quality free courses online for that. Then learn the basics on bukkit on yt and the forums, and if you have the right mindset then you will keep making better stuff from there.
TheNewBoston has a great series on Java for Beginners. Despite the videos being old he doesn’t use shitty programming practices like some YouTube videos do. Only learn from reputable videos or you are going to end up with messy, poor practice code like I did at the beginning. Especially stay away from TheBCBroz for Bukkit.
In my opinion you certainly don't need courses that prioritize the api (like spigot etc.), but courses that prioritize Java and advanced Java. If you understand advanced Java you'll quickly learn the api and any api really.
