So I am starting a company to be able to easier manage my income from programming and possibly hiring a programmer in the future.

Now, I can't seem to figure out a good name, so the person who comes up with a nice one that I decide to use will get 5$ sent to their paypal. (Not before the 11th as I can't send payments until then).

Some simple guidelines:
  1. Has to be an english name
  2. Nothing that's already copyrighted/trademarked etc
  3. Something short and easy to remember (This is what makes a good company name IMO)
  4. Has something to do with programming/coding

PebbleHost
High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

You want us to come up with a name for YOUR company?

Second time I've used this reaction gif today, but I think it's worth it, and how I feel.

No one will care about your name tbh. It's about quality and reputation that builds the name. You could be named Happy Code Explosion for all anyone cares, but if you do quality work, that speaks volumes to a name. Look at "Google" for instance, what a fucking dumb name, but it's synonymous now for what they are and offer, they forged that brand from nothing. A lot of people think a name makes the company, but they're wrong. This is many years of corporate identity studies speaking. Really, name is secondary to product. Effective logo design on the other hand, is a whole other story.

I understand that. But the world "google" is very easy to say and does feel nice in your mouth. Saying "Czareks Programming and IT Service" takes longer, is hard to remember and hard to pronounce.

Which shows that they were either extremely lucky when they chose the name or thought a bit about it.

You totally missed my points. Good luck.

I did not. My point was simply that "Google" is a lot better than "Czareks programming and coding services".
The first one is one word that is easy to remember and pronounce, the other is not.
