Help! My server got stolen! What should i do?

Hello,
Im in a bit of a bad mood at the moment as i found out my friend had changed my email for Console. He had a sub admin account and i recieved a email saying that the email for MY Account would be changed. I noticed him of this and he said is must be a miss type and he was changing his email.
Later that day i contacted OMGServ support (The Host I Use)
And their asking Me for my national Identity Card.
My parents currently dont know about this because they'd freak out that the person has my Account with my adress and everything

I don't believe hosts log IPs tho? as its Privacy I belive?[DOUBLEPOST=1482612019][/DOUBLEPOST]Also, I'd recommend asking your Parents for the information I don't believe they will be that mad as the guy probably won't come to your home over a server Most people just threaten people and nothing ever happens

They'll most likely have his address as they normally ask it when you checkout.

I know old users of this Fourm remember FadeCloud how they had an issue like this

can i just point out that you just said you are an alt because you joined wednesday and mentioned something old users of the forum would know?

I totally agree with the guys.And here is ur most important lesson like a server owner, pick really careful ur staff/co-owners/friends never give your personal info, never give your accounts password (host acc, multicraft acc, website, e-mail, paypal etc).Always be sure to disable all possible in-game access to important commands like op/deop/resart/save/stop etc.Never give OP except you trust but really trust this person.Imo the console is only for error output and it should never be given to anyone but You!There are other ways that your staff/co-owners can participate with the server management without console.Always do constant backups and always make sure that even that you have done the things above u leave ur self a door to bypass everything & everyone.
Now as far as it goes for the host, if possible find ur billing transactions and send them to them.Tell them, that you pay the bills this is the e-mail/acc that has always payed the bills for the server and you want them to transfer the account back to the previous e-mail(yours).Btw i hope that u do hold to the old bills!
Btw if OhBoi is up to it i can join him and setup you a new server.I will do this for free.
