JOIN_MESSAGE is working but for some reason CHAT_FORMAT and ON_JOIN_MESSAGE AND ON_LEAVE_MESSAGE are not working. Any help?

Both %player% and %rank% are in the placeholder thing for the plugin. %rank% is used later on on a different section and works just fine too.

This looks like Solenxia to me, so forgive me if I give wrong information here:

I am fairly confident in Solenxia %rank and %player only work when it comes to scoreboard and tabs, specific join messages, etc.
unfortunately for some chat features it is not the same.

I believe instead of %rank you should be putting %prefix or %suffix, I also believe the user is already apart of the chat configuration without necessary modification.

You also need a chat manager if it is not Solenxia, but if it is, it's built right into the hub core: you also need an advanced permissions system that is supported by the plugin, if you are using Solenxia then I suggest PEX or zPermissions, I believe both are supported.

Do you have placeholderAPI or if you have it have you downloaded the extension for it?
