Help putting files in!

Hey guys basically I bought some website and a server. I have bought everything else all i need now is the website files to be put into cpanel. How ever I don't have a clue on how to do this. i've tried multiple times and cannot seem to get this working. If anyone is able to help me this would be fantastic.

Check if the files are in zip. If it's a zip, check it's contents. It should have index.html or index.php on open

Once you have done that.

Go to your cPanel->File Manager->Public_Html and click upload

Upload your zip file then when it's finished. Extract it
