Help! Someone please give me some numbers regarding storage, ram, etc!

Hey guys, I'm looking to open a server somewhere in the near future. Here's the bad part, I really have no idea what to look for when buying hosting. What are the most eye catching things I should definitily look for when purchasing some hosting?

I'm unaware of what "ram" or "storage" means regarding Minecraft hosting. If someone could leave a list of what these mean amoung the others I should know about down below in the comments that would be super helpful to not only me, but others that might not know.

So with all that covered, can someone give me some estimated numbers of how much "ram" and "storage" and all the other things using the following information.
• The server is going to have 50+ plugins
• looking for it to be capable of holding 50+ players on at a time.
• %100 uptime (obviously)

I really have no idea what other relevant information I need to give. If there's some much need info that I need to include please let me know.

You claerly dont know what you are talking about. They are Gigabytes (GB) not Gigabits (Gb) they are very diffrent. There are 8Gb in 1 GB.

They responded to me in 7 hours or less when I needed support, i'm not really sure that that is true. They might be a bit slow sometimes, but they have a really nice support team to help you with your server.

I no longer run a server, but I have some friends that run quite large servers, that are dedicated. Back a while ago, I was running 6gigs off of Shockbyte, and had no problem. I had over 45+ plugins, and on my crap computer I was running 300fps with optifine.

vouch for this guy's hosting currently using 1gb test server for my mythicmobs, and even though I spawn tons of mobs during battle, unless they're all particle intensive it runs with no lag on the server side. Only client side lag is a concern
