Help with advertising

Hey

So I am trying to advertise my server, volcanicprison.com, and no one seems to come on. Everything is ready to go and I was just wondering if anyone had any advice as to how to get more players on my server.

I've put my site on PMC, mc-servers, and minecraft-server.net

Any suggestions?

The hype for the normal gamemodes are dead. Your server needs to be different than the useful prison servers then players will come to you with a little bit of advertising. Saico I rememeber first time I joined there wasn't many players and their Idea was different than anyone and there was only 1 realm which was Saico, the server expanded and now has over 7 realms with over 2000+ players. You need 24/7 working team to create and think out of the box and the usual boring stuff. Anyway, good luck to your server.

In my opinion, the best way to get the attention of a community, especially in MC, is to invest into YouTube influencers. With them posting a notification on their twitter account mentioning that they’re going to bring out a new video on your server the dedicated fans would check it out to have a chance to get into the influencer’s video and a head start to the game.

However, that’s just one of the pieces of the puzzle (maybe one of the big pieces) - you’ve also got to create enough content to last until a new update, have a Forums to keep your following and update on news etc… I’m sure you know what you need to look for overall

Everything that needs a server to run has to work together, if one is not as strong… that can impact on the other aspects of the server.
