As the title says, I need someone to help me get started with the Bitcoin and Crypto Currency. I'm not familiar with it (heard of it) so please pm me!

Basically it is a form of virtual currency, that changes value like a stock. But, each good coin should have certain things to them that make it worth investing into.

It runs on something called the blockchain, where a series of "blocks" (Or transaction confirmations) go through to confirm a transaction.

It is more complicated then this, so I suggest googling how a transaction works, the blockchain, reading about good altcoins (Coins that aren't bitcoin) and how to get in on the action.

You can find a list on a website called https://www.coinmarketcap.com. (Link should work). I recommend getting a Coinbase account and buying BTC via Bank Wire (Large Amounts), Bank Transfer (Medium Amounts), and credit card (Small Amounts). Or, you can buy BTC from users here (such as myself) and send it to an exchange (like binance) where you can exchange your bitcoin for others, such as ZCash (ZEC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), and many others.[DOUBLEPOST=1523552060][/DOUBLEPOST]

0.01 BTC is ~$70. If you want free BTC, I suggest A. Going to a faucet. B. Winning a contest and buying BTC with that or C. Signing up for Minerfarm (Cloud Mining) and get free mining power. (Very complicated, mining is!)
