Hey, so I had my computer custom built a few years back, and some of the games I play are starting to run a bit slow. I'll list the specs below, what would you recommend that I change/switch out to get better performance?

CPU: AMD A6-6400K (I know AMD is shit)
RAM: Corsair Vengenace Pro (16GB)
MOBO: Gigabyte F2A78M-HD2
GPU: GTX 660
Case: Obsidian Series 450D Mid-Tower PC Case

So what can I change to get better performance without building a whole new PC?

I'd wait for the RX 480 coming out in a couple days, $200 with much better performance than the gtx 960 (in the 970 range) with even VR capabilities.

You're running a dual core processor, which is highly not recommended for newer games. Unfortunately, the most amount of cores supported in an FM2+ Motherboard is 4. But, I'd recommend upgrading to an AMD A10-7890K, along with a GPU upgrade, and if you have a higher budget, grab a 1070.

Good luck with getting the rx480, I bet it'll be sold out considering how cheap it is.

But yeah, I agree. Change your graphics card to an RX480 if you can manage to get it.
