Help with Instagram security

Hey guys and girls,

I recently purchased an Instagram account on MCM off a user I won't currently name due to the open report I have with the staff.
Anyway, I purchased the account, changed the email and added two-auth onto the account. A week or so later the account password was changed I can only presume it was down to the OGE of the account. I thought as I had changed the password, email AND added two-auth that something like this wouldn't happen.

So my question is, if I DID get the account back, is there anyway to stop this in the future?

Happened to me as well, I believe when you change the email the og email gets an email saying it was changed and the og email is able to revert this. Not sure how to fix.

It's rather annoying that it's an option especially when something like two-auth is setup and a week has passed. I understand that that's I guess their security measures, but the customer service for Instagram is no existent. Can't figure out where to even start to try and get the account back.


Scam reports are visible to the public wym

It said it's not visible until a staff member has responded.

Well, the thing is, account selling really is against TOS.

Ah, that makes sense completely. Wouldn't the OP seller also get into trouble if I were to prove the account was sold?
Pretty sure the only thing that'd happen is account deletion of the sold account. No point in my opinion unless you don't want him having the account.

Edit: This would fall under violation of tos

There's been no activity since the password was changed and he hasn't been on MCM since then, so really unsure what's happening. I'm hoping it was an error on his part as he seems reputable on the site and even has the Supreme upgrade, but you never know these days.

When I reset the password it goes to the original email, as I remembered the email it was before, but the contact email address is still mine.

swap the username if you get it back. if you need help or more info pm me.

I'll give that a go if I somehow manage to get the account back, if not I guess I'll have to start from scratch!

I don't believe they support the sale of accounts do they?

As mentioned above they don't, but I just went to them saying my account was hacked but haven't heard anything back from them at all.
