Hey, Noob Question Here :p I need someone to help me with the really simple task of making my domain connect to my mc server, namecheap support was unable to do this for whatever reason.

I can't pay, but it's pretty simple and I would appreciate it alot! :p

Get your server direct IP. Hopefully you have a dedicated port :)25565).
Go to Namecheap DNS area, add an A Record that points 'play' to your server ip.
'play' can be anything. play.domain.com, mc.domain.com, etc.

If you don't have a 25565 port, it's a little trickier.

Don't have a 25565 port, also want forums to work on just plain cryptmc.net, so can't have the whole domain redirect.

So without a 25565 port, your domain will never being just the domain without it be complicated. It will be like example.com:26369

Also this is the wrong place to ask for help.[DOUBLEPOST=1508992104][/DOUBLEPOST]
He said “I cant pay” in the post so he will have to figure it out with the post.

This is false. There is actually a way to get around having the ports, I remember doing this a while back. If I remember how I will tell you for sure.[DOUBLEPOST=1508992625][/DOUBLEPOST]Ok I remember, you need to use a SRV record. I found the exact thread i used a while back to do this:

Your welcome, ask me if you need help understanding anything ;)

I said there was a more complicated way then just an A Record but this workds just aswell

He's using namecheap, not cloudflare, you'd need to find a tutorial that uses namecheap
