HELP WITH LUCK PERMS AND ESSENTIALS NICKNAME

So when I do /nick in-game it changes my name with essentials messages but when I type in chat it doesn't change at all, it just stays as my IGN without color or anything. I don't know if this is Luck Perms or what, I need help!

There's a fine line between being greedy and being a good human being.
Not everything has to be about $$$. Consider the issue the op is facing... Cmon really.
