Help with mic

So i just got the hyperx quadcast mic and I wanted to know if I could make the sound quality any better because in other videos of people testing the auido I swear it sounds better. Any thing would help!

What software do you use to record the audio from your new microphone?

I also have this microphone. I'd recommend if you haven't already to get a boom arm. I managed to get one for about £20 on amazon and it was easy to setup. When it was set up on the boom arm I just messed around with the gain a little and it sounded perfect for me.

You might not have your sample rate set correctly. To check this, run "mmsys.cpl", click "Recording", double click your microphone in the list of devices and click "Advanced". Higher sample rate = higher quality

I have a boom arm my mic quality isn't that good still
