Help with ViaVersion / Players take a long time to load terrain when connecting

Hello MC-Market,

I'm looking for a developer to help me with an issue that's causing players to take a while to connect to my server. When a player tries to connect to the server, they are stuck on the "loading terrain" screen for 5+ seconds or just cannot connect at all.

I believe that it's caused by ViaVersion but I'm not entirely sure. If you are able to help/know a fix, please PM me! I'm using Spigot 1.8.8 and using ViaVersion.

I don't think that's becuase of ViaVersion. Are there any errors in config when they try and join?

This is what happens when a player connects. Just a really long loading terrain screen. Try connecting for yourself, play.carrotmc.com

Is this only happening to one player or anyone who tries to join with 1.8?

All players who connect on ANY version

Try uninstalling ViaVersion, restarting, and connecting. Are those the only errors you get? Maybe try taking out your permissions plugin as well (remember to keep a copy safe during this process).
