Help with VPS

I have a VPS with Ubuntu 14.04, I have multicraft etc and all installed on it.

My problem however is that whenever I try to connect to my VPS after updates Java from Java 7 to Java 8, Now I can no longer connect and I get this error, Is anyone able to help me out with this?

I am using the Bitvise SSH Client on windows.

When using and I have tried accessing it from JuiceSSH on my Android phone I get the error.

A friend of mine said that the problem is the fact that the VPS is down but the minecraft daemon is up and so is the servers and website so I do not understand what I have done and honestly I am just confused.
