Help with what is the right thing to do.?

Hello MCM Devs,

I am not sure what to do in this situation, what do you guys think would be acceptable? I am using a spigot premium plugin that I did indeed pay for on my server. My server has since been updated to a new version but the dev is no longer active.

I am not looking to steal his work or anything like that, but would it be wrong if I asked another dev to continue the work and update it 1.11.2? This plugin was not origionally designed just for me, it was a public premium plugin on spigot, that is why I am not sure what to do.

This plugin is a huge part of my server and just removing it is not an option as there are no viable alternatives, and I can not afford to pay several hundred dollars for custom work this size.

As long as the dev that updates it doesn't give it to anyone who didn't buy the original plugin I don't see any issue with it.

I'd try asking the original developer via PM and if no reply, I'd get it updated and just don't redistribute it.

Your responses actually make perfect sense, I never planned on redistributing it... Im not trying to be one of those scumbags I just have a server to run and wasn't sure about what to do in this situation.

Do either of you have time to do an update and possible add a feature or two depending how it integrates? I don't have much cash to offer, my server is still very tiny, but I still think it should be a paid job. PM me if your interested
