Hey, before putting a funny rating, don't. If you got a problem gtfo of this thread.
Don't say it's shit posting since it's pretty long you saying its shit posting makes you a shit poster ;)
Also, this is a serious thread I'm not saying anybody here is a doctor or some shit, just need some help/advice.

I'm an Internet/gaming addict, if you didn't know already. And pretty much I want to stop it.
I need help on HOW to stop it, what should I do.
Don't comment troll things like sell your PC. I need it for school
I need serious help. I would explain the whole story but not to a bunch of random people.
If you want to know PM me, depending if I trust you I'll tel you :)

Go out and make friends. Go out with them, go partying, find yourself a girl. Once you do that, you'll go back to your PC and be like "why did I even do this shitty Minecraft business?".
I do have friends just its not as easy as it thinks. You can't just GO OUT if you're an Internet/gaming addict. :/
-Use self discipline if you have to.
-Delete all your video games.
-Go outside and stay away from your computer.
-Unplug your computer when you don't need it, and re-plug when you do need it.
-Find a different passion.
-Try finding a job to consume time.

These are a few things you can do.
Hell Na I spent like a good 200+ on getting games themselves m8
Anyways, it's not that easy like I said above.
I've tried this before and every time I just go back on my PC :/

But yeah thanks for the advice both of you. I'll try finding something else to do :D

I can understand this problem. I had it for a while as well.
Assuming that you're not the type to 'go partying' (otherwise terrobility's advice would suffice), find yourself a hobby. Preferably one that can make you a bit of cash as well, like I assume you've been doing on here.
Terraforming for me has become a hobby, and I find myself spending time on it even if I don't have a commission.
I've got some others as well, though they're basically all digital, which isn't a perfect way to get rid of a PC addiction. But it has meant that I now only rarely play videogames.

My recommendation would be to try a hobby in the crafts section of things (wood carving, sculpting, idfk), or in the sports direction.

Could you PM me and tell me why you want to stop playing games all of a sudden? It's fine if you don't trust me though.

Yes you can, once you make the first step. Start messaging people you know irl and ask if they want to watch a film together. Maybe even ask to go out around town or something like that. It's not that hard to close Minecraft, put some clothes on and head out. The first time would obviously be hard but after that, your priorities will change.
Next problem: Do you know people IRL well enough to 'go out' with them. I can assure you, us internet addicts can find quite some trouble with this.

21217 Try finding an online game of Dungeons and Dragons for beginners. It may seem like a nerdy thing, but it can be enormous fun if you find a good group of people. Once you enter that scene, it'll be easier to find people IRL as well. It's an entryway that's effective for the more 'introvert' people that don't enjoy classic 'parties' so much.

Limit the amount of time on your computer.
Get a job (how I managed to cut time)
Go outside.
Find another hobby.

Downgrade your gpu so even if you try to play games they will play at 5 fps. It will make you not want to play them.

Gaming is like smoking.[DOUBLEPOST=1471128922][/DOUBLEPOST]
It's not as easy as that.. Maybe you could go out with a girl with down syndrome.
Except gaming, if done in combination with exercise, is not bad for your health still.
The problem is getting off your arse to exercise...

I've been interested in like sculpting and like "IRL terraforming". I might try doing that with my friend :)
Also I don't want anything related to my PC. Redline should know why :p
tell exhale or Jkaay to take ur shit away

go outside as well (my weakness)
I can't go outside idk why I just hate going outside :/

Every time I do then like 10 hours later I message them saying I can't cause I'm busy doing other things (on PC or something)

I've tried doing a "meet up" before with friends who I've meant form games and shit, but everytime I'm just like Na too lazy :/
To be serious, either sell or give away all of your minecraft related stuff so you can't turn back.
it isn't only minecraft. I'm addicted to all sorts of games and the Internet
ask your teacher in school for a shitload of homeworks and you'll be away from your pc ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I don't do homework til the last day

that's the issue :p gaming = drugs, smoking, drinking.
Once you get addicted it isn't that easy to stop[DOUBLEPOST=1471163419][/DOUBLEPOST]
Ooh, I've been there. I'm stuck in that situation, much like you are. Luckily, I've found out that the key is to go out where you'll be meeting new people (or just try socializing with new people). Try and get with friends of friends, invite them to events, let them do the same. Now I have a group of people which I know from out of school and they do all the fun stuff like partying and all. The people I know from school don't like leaving their house and if they do, they don't send me an invite or accept to go anywhere with me. If some people don't want to socialize with you, go find a new group. If you don't have a group of friends who will, start asking people you know the next time you plan something.[DOUBLEPOST=1471131511][/DOUBLEPOST]
There's plenty of fish out there once you get to know people, like friends of friends. If you're feeling like you're not good enough, you can always fix up. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's easy - just give it time.
The issue is I don't go events. Lol
I hate going off my lazy ass ;p

Might seems kinda eh, but go Pokemon hunting instead of botting (not saying you bot, idk)
I've gone out Pokemon hunting with friends and by myself, and in more than one occasion I've met others doing the same and got their contact info. Then get to know them, go hunting with them, become good friends and start doing shit other than just Pokemon hunting. Sounds cheesy but it works
