Every time someone posts a suggestion you just make an excuse for yourself. You've already identified your problem but the next step in fixing it is to be motivated enough to do anything to fix it. I would recommend, if you use Reddit, subscribe to r/socialskills, r/selfimprovement, and r/fitness. Start working out, discover your hobbies and get into the world. Don't post here asking for help if you're not willing to put forth the effort into at least trying these people's suggestions.

You're not motivated enough to fix it, you're looking for an easy way out. That shows you really don't want to fix your problem.

Actually, boys like sports, so why not get into soccer or basketball?

Also, if this doesn't work the way you wanted it to, try to get IRL friends to play with you, either IRL or online. Why? Because if you're socializing, even if online, I don't see a problem. And, to my own experience, you befriend people a lot easier if you play with them usually and sooner or later the invites to go to the cinema or to parties will come Kappa

One more suggestion, limit the time you spend online. I still spend a decent amount of time on my computer yet I balance my time. Ive hung out with friends 4 times in the past week or two, and gone out myself to do stuff, like shopping, going to the bank, walking my neighbors dogs, going to school, and I also do martial arts during the week. However, because I balance my time well I can still spend some of my day on the computer.

I'll tell you what really, really fucking works.

Don't use your computer for 1-2 months. I know this is what you didn't want to hear, but trust me, it works. You can use other devices for homework. When you go back to your computer you will realize all the shit you've done before was a waste of your time, and you'll move on.

Or get a girlfriend.

I was much the same for a while, then I had a friend who really wanted to watch deadpool. Asked me to go with them, and whilst we were in the city, he bought a new deck for his skateboard. So me being me trying to fit in, bought a skateboard even though I had not a clue how to ride it. Couple months later i'm now going out a lot more often spending less and less time on my PC. It's all about finding the balance.

To be serious, either sell or give away all of your minecraft related stuff so you can't turn back.
ive stated this before, it's not minecraft.
I hate MC, I quit it lol.
If I was an addict to MC then the thread would be like "im addicted to MC how can I stop". An Internet addict is someone who's addicted to the Internet itself. A gaming addict is someone who plays games non stop (I'm both)
