Just looking for some assistance in direction in order to properly set up a website. It's just going to be a personal website but I'd like to be able to host an email server, if possible(I have no idea how this works), and possibly have links to my other accounts of various types and some informed about me. Also wondering how hosting works because i do have a domain registered through namecheap right now

If I understand correct.
you would like a web server with an email server.

Get basic hosting from someone like KevinB and it comes with the email server on cPanel.

Am I able to transfer my domain?

Yes,

Change Nameservers and just give Vastitude (KevinB) a message and they will change it their side.

Ok thanks. I'll look into it just registered the domain an hour or so ago so I'm trying to set it up now
