Hello, i am getting this issue while trying to set up Xenforo.

Hello,

This error is saying that it cannot connect to the database that you have put the details in for. It could be that the details you put in are wrong or the database doesn't exist.

Create a database under the name xenforo then create a user under the name xenforo as well remember its password then connect the database and user giving it all the privileges then use the MySQL username pass and since both of them have the same name just op copy paste your username_xenforo or just copy paste database name[DOUBLEPOST=1524079321][/DOUBLEPOST]

Go to your Cpanel

Go to MySQL database
Create a database, Make it have all privileges
Create it.

And then put the same info on the XenForo SQL where it asks you to put the MySQL Data.

Leave the port + host blank if you don't know what they are for.

U mean leave port and host don’t touch them if you don’t know them
