Just realized I haven't written one of these fancy schmancy introduction posts. rip my life.
Anyway, I'm Siig. I've been playing Minecraft since Alpha. I don't have any fancy OG names or special capes but I do have my little redstone engineer skin ;D
I started out with vanilla like we all did, and then I found Feed the Beast. Played that for a long time, did some streaming and youtube videos and had a great time with those. As I grew into modded, I started joining servers and having fun. Made some impressive builds (at least I thought they were neat) and learned about power and all that.
Fast forward a year or two and suddenly I'm starting servers. Started off renting a dedicated box from OVH then quickly moved on to hosting off my own PC at home. Founded 1.7.10's modpack titled Heart & Soul, and am now in the works of creating 1.10.2's Heart & Soul 2: Kingdoms: a new modpack taking the grind out of difficult and making difficult truly a thing. That is going to be installed on my new server box, which I love.
Anyway, about me. I'm 33 and married to my beautiful wife of 2 years, have a solid job as an audio engineer and enjoy life. I was in sales for a few years after high school but was also learning to become a DJ on the side. I then became a DJ for 13 years. Playing trance, drums & bass, hardstyle and drumstep, It's been a long ride.
I like anime, but I haven't seen a lot of recent stuff. My tastes are more for pre-digital anime, such as The Slayers, original Saber Marionette, Akira, Iria, and more. I do like Lucky Star though
I came here because it was recommended to me by somebody in Discord that MCM has a good amount of plugin makers. Sadly, I've found the ones that program mods for Sponge or Forge are few and far between. It's okay though. Since I've been here I've found a great sense of community, and want to help out where I am needed. After I browsed the forums for a while and realized that I could be of help to people who were being taken advantage of, I decided to start up a service to help consult MCM users about their options when doing deals with others, or just to help out with making threads. Hopefully I am of some use to you guys!
