Hello Hello! After almost a hefty 24hrs of being a member of MC-Market, I've decided to introduce myself! Little warning: I'll do my best not to go off on tangents, no promises though! Anyways, sit back, relax, grab some popcorn! This'll be a fairly interesting(hopefully) thread.| About Me |
First and foremost, my name is Brandon, but feel free to call be 'bran' for short! I'm 17 years old and from North America. From others, I've been told I'm an idiot, hard working, dedicated, confused, and entertaining person(apart from other things)! My personality does fluctuate depending on what I'm reacting to or working on, so if I seem like a stuck-up person and suddenly become a complete goofball in pm's/chat, it's normal... I've been playing Minecraft since roughly 2010 and have been apart of several servers as a player and as a staff member. If I'm correct, my first server I really played was GamePlayerHD's over 5 years ago. After that, I've been bouncing from servers that I enjoyed playing with friends: survival games, skyblock, towny, factions, and minigames were a majority of them. Though, in around 2015 I started to become more invested in playing factions, despite being awful at it. In the past year, however, I've found a fondness for building, primarily from an event team I was apart of, which I later to leadership of. Despite being unsucessful to push out events due to the needed plugins for them, the effort we put into each build was what made me want to continue building. Now, I have my own localhost server where I build with worldedit, voxelsniper, and my good ol' hands! I've also recently starting working on content concepts for servers, which in all honesty has been so interesting being able to really think and invest time into what can make something even better(woah I sound like a motivational speaker! #Bran4President?)| Goals On MC-Market |
Currently, my goal on here is just to broaden my connections with other users, chat, and of course have some fun as well. Though, when I do get to the level in which I feel comfortable with it, I will be willing to build for servers and/or sell schematics to each build I make(which will be a while since I'm still learning). Another goal of mine would be to connect with both network and server owners to possibly work for and learn from. Despite my experience in Minecraft, I lack experience when it comes to any managerial positions with the exception of managing an event team on a server. | Other Interests |
Some of my interests include travelling, pottery, movies, writing, going to the beach(cliché, i know), and going out; I'm always up for an adventure with friends, especially when I bring my film camera with me. I've always wanted to travel the world, but due to how expensive it is that will need to be put on hold, though, these are some places I'd like to travel to: Hong Kong, Iceland, New Zealand, Germany, South Korea, India, and Greece. I've been doing pottery for nearly 3 years, I first started hand building with clay until my second year I decided to learn how to use the potters wheel, which let me tell you, is so difficult oh my goodness. Though, the projects that do survive turn out really well! Movies, I've always fallen in love with movies and the whole industry, which is why I've recently decided to major in English for college to write screenplays for movies, t.v. shows, etc. But yeah, that's pretty much it!
